What to check in a flat

When assessing your future accommodation, watch out for the following:

• Mould (as it may be dangerous to live in a contaminated property!)
• Heating (you don’t want to be miserable during cold winters)
• Energy efficiency (so your bills don’t break the bank)
• Water pressure (is it strong enough?)
• Surroundings (watch out for noisy pubs or clubs around)
• Roommates, if there are any (are they fine to live with?)
